How To Delete Your Account

You can initiate account deletion from the EatAI app under Settings -> Account -> Delete account. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@eataiapp.com from the email address associated with your EatAI account.

What To Include

• Use the subject line: EatAI account deletion request.
• Send the request from the email address used for your EatAI account.
• If you cannot access that email address, include enough information for us to verify account ownership.

What Gets Deleted

We aim to delete or anonymize your account profile, meal records, meal items, water logs, categories, insights, AI usage records, behavior profiles, private media references, and support/problem report data where possible.

What May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required for legal obligations, tax, payment disputes, security, abuse prevention, or store compliance. Backups may take up to 90 days to age out.

Subscriptions Are Separate

Deleting your EatAI account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel your subscription in Apple or Google subscription settings before the next renewal if you do not want future charges.

Processing Time

We aim to complete deletion or anonymization within 30 days where possible after verifying the request.
